In honor of National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month and Family Caregivers Month in November, The Long Island Museum is honored to serve as a showcase for the fifth annual Through Our Eyes exhibition. This unique collaboration will feature the works by residents from Gurwin Jewish Fay J. Lindner Residences, selected by their staff with guidance from the LIM staff. Photographic portraits and artist statements will be presented beside each artwork to provide a richer context and a deeper connection with both the piece and artist. This exhibition is underwritten by a generous grant from The Knapp/Swezey Foundation, Inc. and sponsored by Nancy Burner & Associates, P.C., Elder Law & Estate Planning.
