This exhibition explores the breathtakingly diverse collection of Americana that the Long Island Museum has carefully acquired, preserved and shared with the public since opening its doors in 1939. The 75 artifacts, some rarely on display, represent the broad scope, diversity and richness of the Long Island Museum’s collection and encourages visitors of all ages to experience what the museum has created since its beginning.
